It is with heavy hearts that we must share the news that Gerald Weber passed away on August 9, 2026.
Gerry joined Boodell & Domanskis, LLC as a Member in 2022. He grew up in Chicago and was a lifelong avid sports fan, especially for the White Sox and Bulls. He was a University of Michigan alumnus and always remained a supporter of that school and of higher education.
He became an attorney in 1963 and practiced law for the majority of his career at Gould & Ratner. Over the years, Gerry developed many client relationships that turned into real-life friendships. He cared deeply about the work he did as well as the people who were his clients. His family was his priority. As we know, one of his mottos was, “Family first, family second, family third”. His children and grandchildren were the light of his life, and Gerry’s wife, Jane, was his rock.
“Our law firm was honored to have Gerry be a member of the firm since 2022. He was an attorney who always looked to do the best to help and serve his clients in any way possible. He came to us after a long and distinguished career with Gould and Ratner where he was the first person named partner after the founders.” – Al Domanskis, Managing Member.
Gerry was a kindhearted man and we are grateful that we had time to work with him and get to know him over the last few years. He will be missed dearly by his family, colleagues, and many friends.
