Amanda K. Anderson focuses her practice on residential and commercial real estate transactions as well as estate planning while providing general legal services to guide her clients through a variety of legal questions and challenges. With over 25 years of real estate experience, Amanda brings a unique mix of both legal and hands-on experience to the Firm and to her clients.
Before joining Boodell & Domanskis, LLC in 2024, Amanda worked as in-house counsel to Chicago’s largest real estate brokerage where she was responsible for providing daily legal advice to their over 4000 real estate brokers. She represented the brokerage at all administrative hearings, mediations, and arbitrations. Additionally, Amanda was the Vice President of Professional Standards and Dispute Resolution for one of the nation’s largest REALTOR® Associations for 20 years where she trained in dispute resolution and risk management matters. There, she was a trained mediator and successfully mediated several hundred disputes. Amanda has also been licensed as an Illinois real estate managing broker for over 20 years and has practiced as a real estate broker for many of those years.
Amanda received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Purdue University and her MBA with a focus in Commercial Real Estate from Roosevelt University before obtaining her Juris Doctorate from John Marshall Law School in Chicago.
