At a celebration in honor of Lithuania’s 100th anniversary of Independence at the office of Cook County Treasurer, Maria Pappas announced that her office now provides valuable information concerning property taxes in 24 languages, including Lithuanian. Al Domanskis and Audra Karalius of Boodell & Domanskis, LLC were among distinguished members of the Lithuanian community in Chicagoland invited by Cook County Treasurer, Maria Pappas, to her office to celebrate Lithuania’s 100th anniversary of Independence. The Act of Independence of Lithuania was signed on February 16, 1918 and Lithuanians across the world are celebrating this anniversary all year long.
