We are pleased to welcome our newest associate, Sarmistha Banerjee, to the firm. Sarmistha practices business law, estate planning, guardianship, probate and real estate law. She has served as a court-appointed Guardian ad Litem for disabled adults and minors in guardianship proceedings. Before joining B&D, she gained experience in various practice areas at two respected law firms in the collar counties of Chicago. Sarmistha earned an A.B. in Sociology from Smith College and an M.A. in Sociology from Northern Illinois University. She received her law degree from Northern Illinois University College of Law magna cum laude. Sarmistha is an active member of her legal community and has served on the Board of the New Lawyer Division of the DuPage County Bar Association and on the Board of the DuPage Association of Women Lawyers.
