November and December were busy months for the B&D real estate group, as B&D attorneys represented numerous clients in real estate transactions throughout the Chicago area.  Highlights include representing the buyer in completing the purchase of a $127 million office center in the Chicago area, representing the buyer in a $2.5 million 9-acre commercial property purchase to be used as a bus depot and truck repair shop, representing the seller in a $2.5 million sale of a Walgreens property in Homewood, Illinois, acting as local counsel for a borrower real estate investment firm in connection with preparing an Illinois opinion letter for a $1.8 billion loan transaction, and closing on several million dollars in loans for a number of lenders. B&D did this while also representing buyers and sellers in the purchase and sale of numerous single family and multi-family residences with purchase prices ranging from $20,000 to $2,800,000.
