Thomas
J. Boodell, Jr. is a senior attorney with
over 40 years counseling companies and
individuals in their business and personal
affairs. He was
formerly the Co-Chairperson of the
International Practice Group at Piper
Marbury Rudnick & Wolfe, and has had
extensive experience with
U.S.
companies doing business overseas, as well
as overseas companies coming to the
U.S.
Alexander
R. Domanskis
has
practiced law in
Chicago for over 30
years. He is
skilled in general business, real estate
planning, zoning and development, and in
bank financing involving the acquisition,
sale and/or leasing of various commercial properties
across the country.
The
senior partners provide extensive practical
experience and legal knowledge for companies
and individuals doing business in the modern
world. We are
joined by several excellent associates,
and several lawyers who are of counsel with us.
When necessary we also work with a close
network of other legal professionals to
service our clients.

COMPENSATED
Every
service must be worth its cost and
legal services are no different.
Our focus on professional
services, personal relationships,
high quality and prompt responses
converge when answering the
question: how much does it cost?
Time and time
again in our former firms we heard
complaints about billing, layers of
lawyers assigned to relatively
routine matters, inefficient
technology, legal fees far exceeding
initial estimates, over lawyering,
etc.
We believe we
should be fairly compensated.
But our responsibility is to
communicate clearly with the client,
carefully define with the client the
scope and expected costs of the
service to be provided, and bill our
services on a regular basis so that
there are no surprises.
In that context, we are
willing and able to be flexible on
billing practices.
We offer our services at
hourly rates, for monthly retainers,
as a fixed cost per project, or will
reach other sensible agreements
consistent with our clients’
requirements.
